I think that I paid $100 for the box, about $75 or so for the 8" sub, $150 for the amp, plus whatever it costs to get it installed.

The sound is excellent, especially with my alpine cd player and alpine 5x7's. The amp powers just the 8" sub, the front and rear door speakers are powered by the head unit.

It sounds much better than my wife's new Acura TL and any BOSE system that you could put it up against.
