Anyone used "Supercrewsound.com"?

I'd like to buy a box for my '04 S-Crew and I was wondering if anyone had used this outfit. I didn't have a system in my '01 because it was just too much of a pain and too much $$$ to have one custom built but with the way the seats fold up in the '04 it's going to be much easier.

Basically I have two Solobaric 10's out of my SVT Contour that have been sitting in the garage for several years collecting dust during the time I had my 2001. It would be nice to put them to use again and the volume for the boxes on the "Supercrewsound" website appear to be just right.

Regards,
Tom

I'm looking at that box for my 04 Screw as well. It'll take 2 10"s won't it, and have a place in the center for the amp?

I believe the answer to that question Keener is a big 10-4. I emailed them this morning and got a response in just a few minutes. I've got two older Kicker Solobaric 10's (the round ones) that have been collecting dust in the garage for a couple of years now. Now that I've got a truck that accomodates them a little better I'm going to put them to use again. The owner said the volume and depth would be perfect for my solobarics and the way the box sits in the truck it can be easily taken in and out. I'm planning on mounting some recessed spring loaded handles on mine so that I can take it in and out quickly. I'll probably rig up some kind of quick disconnect for the electrical connections. That way if I need to haul something in the cab, I'll just pull the subs out and stick them in the garage.

They do have a box listed for 8's, and from the picture on the website it looks like you can mount an amp to the middle section of the box, but you might email them just to make sure. Let me know what you find out.

Well that sucks. Where the hell am I going go put it. My changer is going under the passenger seat and I don't know where I'm going to put the EQ/DSP, but it's small, however I don't know if the Punch 200 will fit under the drivers seat or not. If it wont, I may be "S-crewed".

Put it in the dash behind the radio, plenty of room back there.

I ordered a single 10" under-seat box for my Screw from them. Should be here any day now.

I put my amp under the center cushion. It just pulls up and there is a little room for a amp. you will need the bench seat though

Just installed a dual 10" box in my 02 screw from these guys. I got the naked one and covered it myself, mounted 2 10"square pyle psq10" in it with a little modification. Have a 800 watt Kenwood amp runnin em. Sounds pretty good so far, i will be putting in a 1600 watt pyle amp and see if that makes a difference... Overall, good quality box.... It even fit with the 3/4" i had to add to the sub mounting area....

Anyone looking for sub boxes for a Screw should try www.subbox.net . they have quite a few even for the new 04 F150's. Not too $$$$ either.

Well, I finally scraped up the cash and ordered the dual 10" box today from Supercrewsound. Hopefully it will get here quickly. When I was at the stereo shop a couple of weeks ago I was telling the sales guy the kind of setup that I was trying to put together and I told him I had one of the older Punch 200x2's and to my surprise he told me to run that thing until it dies! Rather than try to sell me new equipment he told me to run that Punch 200 as long as it still works because "They don't make'em like they used to." I knew that about the older RF stuff, but I didn't expect the guy at the shop to say something like that, so that will save me some $$$. Just for grins I went ahead and picked up another one off of Ebay for $100 so that I'll have a spare!

With any luck I'll be able to take the truck down and have the amp mounted and wired up so that it's ready to go as soon as the box gets here. It's been 4 long years since I had good bass in my car and I'm looking forward to it. Now if I could just get the JL Audio 300/4 for the doors, and the new door speakers, and...

Does it ever end?

P.S. - I'll post pictures as soon as it's all done.
