Resonant Engineering

I cant decide on (2) 8"s or (1) 10". Which sub from Resonant Engineering should I get? I have an older Rockford IX100 that puts out about 500w. Anyone have any suggestions? I will be running the subs in a F150 Supercrew under the rear seat. If I run the (2) 8" they will each have .5 cubic feet. If I run the single 10 it will have a little over 1 cubic foot. I would like to port the box also. HELP.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe you'll be able to fit an RE 10" handling that amount of power under the rear seat without a seat-lift. (You're looking at the SE Series 10", I assume.)

Do the 2 8's, it will be a good learning experince without dealing with inevetable problems. If you have to do the single 10, get the Koda and let us know what you think of it. It has like 4.75 mounting depth and an excelent motor. You will want to try and get the right ohm to help you match the sub to the amps power. In other words if your amp does 250 @ 4 ohm and get a sub that handles the 300 make sure it is capable of wiring 4 ohm.

I'm pretty sure mediscona is right on the SE line but the RE's might fit. You should give them a call and see what there suggestion is. You gotta call them to order it anyway's.

You are looking down the right road!
