I'm thinking about going with the audiobahn piston subs for the mounting depth. Has anyone heard these?

 

You might want to send FazMan an e-mail or page him on the 04 board. He is running one of these in the exact situation your asking about. They do handle the power but also like airspace.

I am running the Audiobahn Pro Q series sub. I have a fosgate 800.2 bridged to it. It sound pretty good. Depending on how powerful the amp is that you are planning to use, you may want to look into a 2003 model JL Audio w6. They have been discontinued, but you can find some around at stereo shops still. I think the power handling is 400w, but they sound awesome!! The audiobahn gets the job done though and can definitely handle the power. Email me if you have any other questions.

 

I have to praise Audiobahn as well..
I only have a Kicker KX120.2 amp powering my 10" Audiobahn sub, but it hits pretty good. It doesn't hit as low as my previous sub (Kicker Comp 12) but it punches much harder.
I'd buy Audiobahn again in a sec.. I'd recommend it to anyone as well..
