will the 98 and up speaker harness fit the 04 f-150? I have been unable to get a definite answer and i knew you guys would. thanks in advance.

No it is a 2003 up expy/ 2004 f-150 plug. Metra # 70-5520 or 71-5520. One will plug into the truck and the other plugs into the HU. I can't remeber off the top of my head which is which. I have several posts here and in the 2004 forum, do a search.

 

Thanks for the reply, but what I meant was one that plugged into the factory harness in the doors that would connect to aftermarket speakers. Thanks again.

 

Sorry about that, I do know that crutchfield has been sending out the right ones. I put a set in a truck a guy got from them. Give them a call and order a set up. If they don't know if they will work, more than likley they do since no one has told them to tell us they don't. They've been sending out the right ones since at least the first of the year.

Crutchfield DOES have the correct harnessess for the speaker for the 04's.
