Don't have an 03 but will try to help you out. Most guy's are running there subs under the back seat. Do you have any room back there? Might want to check into a seat lift to get you a little more room. Otherwise ditch the back seat and get your truck pounding

I love the idea of under the backseat but the problem with that is that I have captains and a console back there. The joys of an '03.

Yeah, I know Harley edition. You could always do something with the rear Console or 8's under the back seats still. They don't take too much room.

I'm assuming you don't have any gear yet? What do you want this thing to sound like? Are you looking to get really loud or just want to play clean and loud??? What about money, how much do you wanna spend?

Does this truck have the premium sound in it from the factory?

I have 2 jbl 8's in a half moon box that came out of my 96 cobra. I would have to build something and don't want to mess up the sound. I also have a phoenix gold amp out of said Cobra that should work as well. The deck is the in dash 6 disk, so I guess that is premium for the truck. Being that I'm new to the truck side of ford, i'm still getting acquainted. I'm wanting a quality sound. I don't care about being heard and felt from a 1/2 mile away.

Take a look at Click here towards the bottom of the page. They have a couple boxes for your truck. If Andy sees this, he ought to chime in.

If you want to build it yourself, there are some ideas. They also sell lift kits for your seats to give you more room under them if that is what you need.

Your also going to need wire adapters and an LOC to get the RCA outputs you will need to run your stock HU.

You might also think about getting a nice set of comps and amp for the front end.
