Opinions on Audiobahn??

I am researching what kind of Sub to place under my seat in my '04 S-Crew. According to the specs listed on SubBox.net, the Audiobahn Pro Compression sounds like its too good to be true! 1000 watts rms with only 4.5" mount depth and 0.41 cu ft airspace. I have a Fosgate 800.2 amp that I would like to bridge to a single sub in a sealed enclosure. Does anyone know if this sub would work for what I would like to do? Thanks

Yes it will work. Go to audiobahninc.com and click on tech support. Then click woofer box parrameters 2004. Select the driver your interested in and it will give you specs on enclosure size and performance specs.

I highly recomend running it in a ported enclosure. If you want to hear a set of Sound Q's in a big ported enclosure I'm sure we could hook up.

Remember the .41 is the smallest you can go and the performance of the driver will be affected. For a sealed enclosure on that sub the minimum sealed size is .5 to 1.25. They are not the loudest subs on the market, but they do handle lots of power with ease.

I would recomend 1 10 at least 1.3 cu ft and ported. It will give you a nice response and will still fit under the back seat. I have a musicmoose box for an 04 that I will get rid of cheap that fits this criteria. You might want to re-cover it though. I'd be happy to let you check it out if interested.

Can you email me with a price on the box that you have? My email is shawn@drjtechnologies.com. Thanks Steve.
