Will these fit in the 2004 F150s?

I believe they will fit the 04 with speaker plates. They will need to be fabbed. Anything other than 5x7, 6x8 will need something simillar to fit. The stock Audiophile setup has the 5.25" mids and 1" softdomes in those doors. I also believe that the CDT EF-51 CV will be an easier fit. The same guy has both sizes.

I'm a n00b when it comes to audio and speakers, etc... Would those be a good set of speakers to put in the truck? I went to the CDT web site and from what i saw they look like great speakers.

I'm just starting to upgrade my stereo system and i'll be using an alpine 9815 as the head unit. I'm also looking into putting a box under the back seat to fit 2 10's.

If these are good speakers then you're right the price can't be beat and i'd be interested in them.

thanks

Mike

They are some of the best drivers money can buy. You will have to run some power through them though to get them to wake up.

The 9815 is a great choice as well. As for the 2 10's under the seat, it works alright. Might want to look into running one really nice 10, Problem is finding subs with mounting depths that will fit under there as well as the airspace you have to work with.
