Got around to changing out my front speakers (Focal Polyflex 130) yesterday and adding some sound deadener in the process... wasn't much of a task and the results were great!

Now that being said, I have to say that I had one of the Diamond Audio Hex mids to crap out and I had changed it out to some MA Audio plates while I searched for a good replacement.....

One thing though, I preferred the silk tweets that were part of the Diamond Audio Hex 500s set so I kept them up front and put the Focal TN45 tweets in the rear above the seat...... I had already changed out to a JBL 180.2 amp so I have plenty of juice for those Focals...........

The end result is a fantastic soundstage and very dynamic. Those Focal Mids are great but I'm not so sure that they are "better" than the DA Hex....... but certainly better than the MA Audio plates......

The SQ is definitely there with accuracy and definition that I haven't experienced with the previous smaller RF amp.......

 

Glad your liking the Focals. As for the tweet being to bright you can set them to a few db attenuation with the x-over to cure that problem. Then they should sound about right for you.
