Removable Stereo

I don't know if anybody had tried this... but its a thought.

Here is what I would like to do...
I want a subwoofer enclosure for 2 subwoofers with the sub amp between them. Ok, thats easy. Now, say I want to go racing and want to save some weight. I want the entire enclosure easily removed. I would like to simply disconnect the power, ground, and signal wires from the amp and pull the entire box out.

I know that the power wire and ground for my amp is very large. I would be hesitant to use something like banana plugs to make the connection "quick disconnectable". What would you recommend?

Well the link didn't work.. but I found what you were talking about by going to www.partsexpress.com and searching for "quick disconnect". Thanks, that was what I was looking for.

Glad you found them. You can find them other places as well possibly. I just knew that partsexpress had them.

Anyway, glad I could help.
