direction of subs?

i am planning on getting 3 12 inch subs and i need to know how to place them. now i have 2 10's and no backseat. my box has one sub on each end facing the doors. i can see my back window shacking and i do not want it to blow out. should i have the subs firing towards the back, front, sides??? since they are facing the sides it sounds really good, but it does rattle some. suggestions please

Hey man, I have a 99 ford f150 also. I removed my back seat and replaced it with 4 kicker solobaric 12'3. I never used the seat anyway, and i thought it would be a good addition.
When i removed my back seat, I also removed the back seat wall.
I put in some dynomat. I have noticed the difference in the rattling now.
It sounds great, and i think yours will to.l

Downfiring will give you the best sound, but it won't give you that cool visual presentation.

my buddy had a '00 F-150 reg. cab and he had two 12 inch subs in behind the seats. he positioned them so the speaker itself blasted towards the front of the truck. the back window didn't rattle and the sound was great.
