8 inch

Hey guys, Im lookin for a 8 inch sub to go in a bandpass box(under front seat) That has like 150 to 200 watts.

I was thinkin about the Rockford Punch, its only 60 bucks but, I also thought about the HE's.

I found some Audiobahn's on eBay for 23 bucks, do you think its worth tryin one.

So can anyone point me in the direction of a 8 incher around 150-200 watts(RMS) that is under 80 bucks. Thanks

I recomend using the JL Audio 8" W3 V2 sub. I have two of them in my L with a ported box and they hit harder than most peoples tens. You can pick them up for about $120 bucks a piece

That driver's recommended "sealed enclosure" spec is .25 cf. An eight operating in a 1/4 cf of airspace? I'd really like to hear that for myself to see just what it would do in that little box. You have any direct experience with this speaker? Do tell.

RE8, Can handle 175 watts. .05 cb ft ported apiece. Or .217 sealed apiece. I have 2 on order. Both going under my back seat of my 04 screw in a 1 cb ft ported box. I have read every review on the sub and it seems to be one the best 8" subs on the market. $95 for the pair shipped or $50 plus shipping for one. Go to the site below for a review.

You'll get a better answer here http://forum.soundillusions.net/index.php Ask in the elemental forum..I hear the 8 is ridiculous for it's size..
