Angry subbox.net sub box

Well, let me start off by letting everyone know that subbox.net has been very uncooperative with me about my defective sub box. I purchased a dual 12" down firing box. The problem is that I cant find any really good smack ya in the face head bangin bass subs out there. I really need some help!!! But, Ill only really need to get them if subbox.net gets off their high horse and replaces my defective box. For gods sake.....the holes for the subs were cut all wrong. Theres no way to mount a sub in it the way the holes were cut..... Oh, by the way, the box only has a 5.5" mounting depth for the sub with .70 cu ft of air space per sub. The air space wont be a problem I hope. Im planning on using polyfill to make up for the low air space...Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!

Hey man, I am sorry to hear about your troubles. But let me know how it turns out sound wise, fit wise and all. I'd really like to get some subs for my truck. What size truck do you have (reg cab, ext cab)? Im sorry I can't really help you out with your problem, cause I dont know a lot about that stuff.

No offense but have you even looked at subs? There are hundreds of subs that fall int hat category. The only problem is i cant say i know of any 12s that fit the 5.5" mount depth. I think maybe the fosgate Punch Z subs might. That I know of your not goin to get "really good smack ya in the face head bangin bass" from any subs that I know of that will fit the specs of that box. Now thats of the subs i know of there might be some out there that will but i personally dont know of any.

Happy Holidays,
X

I think I have found some subs that will give me what I want. They are the Cerwin Vega Strokers...The only problem that I forsee is that they need a ported enclosure and I will need to do the math on how to correctly port the box for these subs. They have a little over 4.5" mounting depth, but they require a large ported box to perform. I hope I can get these subs to work. I have heard them before at raves, in the jungle room. The Ultra low frequencies that come off these subs is SICK!!!
