Rattling in cab.

Okay, i have two L7 12s and a Kicker 1200.1 amp. This has a lot of power, and i have a rattling problem. The problem is that the back split glass is rattling and i need to know what to do about it. There may be something behind the back seat that is rattling as well. Any suggestions as to foam, etc...

It's hard to solve this type of problem without seeing/hearing it for yourself because there are many places it could be coming from.

For the window, try to pinpoint the sound, and see if any screws are loose or if you can wedge something somewhere to keep the rattle away.

As for behind the seat...try pulling the seat back off. I dont know what year truck you have though, so I can't really help you much with that procedure.

My back seat rattles against the wall, and sometimes it sounds like back window is shaking also. I have an 01 extended cab. I plan on sound deadning the cab to try to stop it. You may not want this because it would cut down on the outside sound which remember from another post is all you care about with your system. So threres not much you can do without cutting down on the oh so important "every one else can hear it" factor. I have a loud system to probly pretty close to what yours puts out and i know people can hear it from out side but thats not what im looking for. I plan on deadning the cab to make it louder inside, and quieter out.

Later,
X
