Never seen or heard them in person before so I can't tell you anything there.

Those quad 1.5 coils could be wired mutliple configurations.

all coils in parallel = 0.375 ohm mono
series parallel config = 1.5 ohm mono
all series = 6 ohm mono or 3 ohm stereo

Also some other ways to wire them but these are pretty much the standard configurations that would be used.

The basic rule of thumb is that if the loads are wired series they add to each other for final load. If the coils are wired in parallel then the load becomes half, ie. 1.5 parallel to 1.5 would equal .75 and so on and so forth.

MA Audio had a representative install there products in an escalade on monster garage last weekend. It was pretty cool. It always nice the hear before you buy though. Also shipping sucks on subwoofers.

Yeah i have freinds with the mid level MAs but never have i seen or heard of anyone running these and was wandering if anyone else has. They look huge and appear to be able t handle some juice. I kinda thought they were like the MTX rfl just big spl subs with little or no sq. But i dont know much about them.
