bazooka tube under rear seat?
bazooka tube under rear seat?
I am currently buying a 2002 Lariat e/cab and was wondering if a bazooka tube would fit under the rear seat? If anyone has pictures I would like to see it.
I would go for the amplified model and keep the stock head unit.
Thanks.

yep. I've got a 6.5" bazooka EL bass tube with a 600w amp pushing it. So far, the only comments I've had are "Dude, where's your sub??" and "There's no way that little thing is making that much sound!"
I have yet to hear anything even close to "they blow." My 6.5" fits perfectly under the long bench so that the seat holds it in place when lowered. My amp is under the small part of the bench with the discharge of the bazooka blowing over it.
Of course it's not going to be a ghetto blaster and it won't reach the lowest of low frequencies, but it sure as hell accomodates the rest of the system and gives quite a punch for the rap stuff. You sacrifice the obscene volume of 12" subs for space and $$$. Not a bad trade off. After all, all I care about is my stereo sounding good inside my truck. I don't care if people walking down the street can hear it.

cool, i've been planning to get some 6 1/2's for mine. I remember the first time I heard them.....I asked the same thing "what the heck is making all that noise". To me bazooka's rock...they don't have all that ghetto pounding bass, just good pure bass that sounds good I think.
