i just bought a new 03 super crew and im trying to figure out how im gonna put my subs in that i took out of my 01 ext-cab 150. i dont want to take the seats out or make it where they cant fold down. i was kinda thinking of selling my 10's and getting 3 8's and put them behind the seats and make a spot on the box where i can store the jack and stuff. any sugestions on it ?

There is enough room behind the seats for 2 10"'s and jack storage.

If you get an amp that is short enough, it can fit under the seat and still allow the seats to fold down.

I have not posted new pics of my completed set-up because I am tempoarily without my digital camera. But you can see the sub enclosure I made here:


Notice there is a gap between the enclosures. Your jack could sit there. As far as the lug wrench, you could set it on top of the driver's side enclosure, if you made a clip to secure it so it wouldn't rattle.

I made this box on a single Saturday. Of course, having made one before did help me with the speed factor, but it is do-able on a weekend for sure.

The back plastic piece is very easy to cut with a straight edge and a razor knife.

I will say that I have not looked at an '03 'Screw, so there could be some differences. Probably not enough to make a big difference, but you need to check to be sure.

whoa! dude your the man! after seeing that i think come hell or high water these freaking 10's i have are gonna fit. ill probably make something to cover the back instead of cutting the plastic since i usually get a new truck every 2 years. buyers usually dont dig the whole cut up plastic thingy lol. thank u very much and i will be submitting pics here soon when i get done.

alright dude here it is.i finally finished up my trim plate today after work. i have 1.5 per sub. i used the space behind the corner molding to get enough space and filled the box with polyfill to make up the diff. ill post better pics in the next few days. it was raining.https://www.f150online.com/galleries...ew.cfm?num=4515
