Finally have an appointment to get my Component system put in. ($150), but he is building an adapter to hold the 6.5" mid-bass, and cutting out the plastic and mounting the tweeters in the upper right corner of the door. Hes then going to tune the whole system, even though I did the amp and sub myself.
Think the tweeters and new mid bass we'll make a nice noticeable difference?
I listen to alot of rock, as for the past month I've just been running one 10" sub from the amp, and all 4 factory speakers.
I hope this makes a difference and is worth the loot

The Ford 6x8s are crap with their thin paper cone, foam surround, and *ugh* whizzer cone.

 

Sounded like a totally different truck !!
