Boston 5.5

I have a set of Boston Acoustics Pro Series 5.5. Will these fit in the Q Logic kickpanels? Also, what do you recommend? Should I use these in some kickpanles or just install them in the stock front speaker locations. Thanks.

They should fit in a kick pod. You need to find out if the speakers are designed for on-axis or off-axis response. If the speakers were designed for on-axis response it would be best to put them in kick pods...if the speakers were designed for off-axis response it would be best to install them in the doors.

My apologies. I'm new at this. Exactly what does that mean and how can I find out?

On-axis is where the speaker if facing directy towards you, the most common on-axis installation is in the kick panels or kick pods. Off-axis is where the speaker faces away from you (i.e. factory location). Generally, you can find out whether the speakers is designed for on-axis or off-axis response from the manufacturer's website. I checked Boston's website and they really didn't say, but they did reference installations in kick panels a lot...which would lead me to believe that this would be the best solution, on-axis.
