South florida "off roading"

So i'd like to get my little 4x2 dirty, anybody know of any places to go off the paved path and have a little fun?

I'm not looking to get into a mud pit since im sure i'll get stuck but hell, if someones up for a little offroading maybe we can organize some kind of a meet.

If you're around West Palm, J.W. Corbet WMA is a great place to go. It's huge and has plenty of trails that you'd be able to run, and also some that even the biggest trucks would get stuck in. If you're not too far south and want to drive up for a day I'd be glad to show you around there.

west palm beach is close enough for me. Like I said I'm only 2wd so some slight mud is my only option unless we can get a group together where someone would be willing to help me get out lol.

I have 4wd and my buddy will be there with a 250 4x4 with a 6inch lift. I'm sure somebody could get you out lol. BTW, we're all 20-21 years old. My schedule's pretty busy with work and school, so I'll have to try and squeeze it in somewhere. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays I'm free until 5, so if we get off early I can do it. What days are good for you?

Hi all. I'm in Boynton and already sunk one F150 at Corbitt about 11 years ago. I'm down for heading out there and watching as I sit on the main grade haha. I think it was trail 7 or something (the semi circle one)......for some reason I though I could fly my truck over a creek. Ended up swimming and wading my way back to the grade Baer Grylles style and some dude in a swamp buggy thankfully found me and pulled my truck out. Yea you can find more than any of our trucks can handle real quick out there. That's 6 feet tire swamp buggy territory mostly especially as wet as it is right now I suppose. I haven't been there in some time however.

Canes, what type of terrain is the hump? I'm down for some sand and dunes or hills.

I used to take my 2wd Dakota out there all the time. As a matter of fact we all had 2wds and only had to leave a truck out there once. With a couple 4x4s you'll be fine. But yeah I really like Tomato Grade. Lots of sugar sand though so it can get difficult at times.

the humps got mud pits, dirt roads, shallow mud, peanut butter, no sand but it does have big dirt and rock hills and jumps. there is a rock quarry out there so there are huge clean lakes to clean off. i havent been there in a couple months though so dont know whether it is real wet or not, but when it rains for a couple of days dont bother going because the whole place will flood.
