Had to modify the faceplate a little but it fits pretty nice. Everyone thinks its stock. I dont want to pollute the thread with pics but if you check out my "mods" photo album there's a pic of it. I am pretty pleased with it.

After consulting with Jhitti we decided to hold the meet on Saturday June 23rd @ CountyLine Drag Way. Which is located on US 27 1/4 mile south of the Miami-Dade/ Broward county line. And if anyone needs further information the website is http://www.countylinedragwayinc.com/ also do not hesitate to contact me seeing as Jhitti isnt a super cool senior member yet...

Also the track is $20.00 to race all day and $10.00 to spectate

So who is in?

Here's the situation, The gates of the track open Friday and Saturday at 6:00pm and racing starts at 7:00pm. On the other hand on Sunday gates open at 10:30am and racing starts at 12:00pm so if we want to have this in the morning it will have to be changed to Sunday June 24th.

5.4 Lariet,

In order for all of us to park together everyone needs to pay the $20.00 to race. Reason being is there are two gates to go through and if you are a spectator you must park before the second gate. Paying the $20.00 DOES NOT mean you have to race, it just allows you to go into the staging area and park closer passed the second gate.

So everyone Saturday night or Sunday morning????????

Dont be shy about putting your car on the strip. Alot of the people who go to the track just want to see what times thier car will do so they just line up with pretty much anyone. I saw an integra line up against a blown Camaro talk about a mismatch! You should have seen it by the time the integra got off the line the guy with the Camaro was already back in the parking lot drinking a beer.

WOW, I can imagine that. Too funny. Maybe I will just put her down the strip to see what's she's got. With the wheels & Tires I got on there, it's a COW!
This is my 4th f-150 I had a 1997 with a 4.2 v-6 a 2001 Lariat with the 5.4 a 2004 lariat with the 5.4 & Now the Fx2! If I had to choose the fastest one, I would say my 2001. All I had was Intake & Exhaust & chip & it would leave the rubber on the pavement when you step on it! I have tested all the trucks, Tundra, Chevy, Dodge & I can actually feel how slow the f-150 is. Now ride looks & comfort, WE TOP EM ALL!

So we will just make it Sat June 23rd and leave it at that unless an overwhelming demand for Sunday is made.

So as of today the track day meet is going to be held at Countyline Drag Way @ 6:30 pm on Saturday June 23rd (Please view my previous post for the drag ways website)

Marcoorlando,

Yeah dude your pretty far and having to pay gas then a hotel would suck, but if you can make it down here your more than welcome and i know pretty much any hotel in the area so if you reconsider give me a shout and ill help you find one.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Miami Lakes $99.00 per night. (Expedia.com)

I would get you something closer to the track, but my G/F lives in Miami Lakes and if anyone stays near there i will be more than happy to meet up before the meet and lead them to the track. Plus it's a really safe and beautiful area to be in and lots to do around there.
