Well hi , Bet we have passed each other several times since I live in Youngsville and I pass thru WF every day, mostly on the new bypass though. I see you got your lift done, You should take some pictures of your lift in the day time so it shows up better though. Not sure who to tell you to go with on the gears as I kept mine stock myself.
Have you got tires put on yet? Do you take your truck 4 wheelin? I used to take mine up behind the 98 resivor but they recently blocked it off like most all places do (can't have any fun round here huh )
Anyhow gotta run, I'll check back later tonight and look for replys. Look over my pics and you may recognize me blasting thru town some time.

Anyhow, good luck with it, laters.

I have the tires ready to install. I dropped the front diff off today to get the gears put in so i can finish the suspension lift. Maybe if I'm real lucky I will have the lift done and tires on this weekend. The gotta go to Boston for a week.
As for wheeling last time i did that was on Ligon Mill with my ranger. Not sure if anyone goes over there now or not. It's been blocked off a few times.
I will get some better pics of the truck maybe this weekend. I tool the ones there now with just the body lift.
I will see if I can post a pic of my tires/wheels in a few.
As for IT jobs here pmason718. There is a lot of them. That's what I do now and have done for the past 16yrs

Hey all,

I'm in Concord. I am looking into different lifts for my 04 scab. Can't decide if I wanna level only or wait and do suspension. Spring is here and getting the itch to mod again.

Checking in from Clayton, NC. I bought my F150 back in Mid-January and have been looking for a forum to call home. I purchased my 07 Supercrew 4x4 XLT from Crossroads Ford in Cary while they were offering the 10,000 off special. I ended up choosing the 4.6L motor over the 5.4L since I will never be doing any type of towing or hauling, nor do I really need alot of power. I read some reviews and it seemed like the 4.6L, since it had been around longer, was a little more reliable. I managed to get my XLT with the parking sensors, power rear sliding window, deluxe mirror package (LED's and heated), electro chromatic rear view and driver side mirrors, power adjustable pedals, power driver seat, skid plates, and tow hooks. I had my choice between 2 red Supercab FX4's, 1 black chrome edition XLT Supercab 4x4 and a dark blue Supercrew XLT 4x4. I ended up with the dark blue XLT! Anyways, I don't plan on modifying the truck until next year. When I bought it I bet my father and the g/f's father that I wouldn't modify it for a year! Trust me, the pay off is worth it! It just gives me time to save up and get the big mods!

I'm from Raleigh and I have only one bit of advice... LEAVE THE FORUMS NOW!!! If you hang around here for a year, there's no way you'll be able to avoid the mod bug. I've been at it for about 2 years now and still haven't finished, and I've still got the 4" lift and supercharger mods to get to... And I haven't even touched the interior yet!

Thumbs up

Jacksonville, NC here! I just traded my 2005 F250 Powerstroke for a 2007 F150 Supercrew with the 4.6. I was really worried it would be way too underpowered. At first it felt like there was nothing under the hood. Once I looked at the speedometer I realized that it was just that smooth. I was already going 55 when I looked down. I should have never worried because after all it is a Ford and it wouldn't disappoint me. I do miss that diesel when I'm not at the pump though.
