They were flat from the begining. Almost as if they waltz'd in there thinking they were going to stomp them. They certainly got a wake up call... probably not a bad thing for them either!

Heck, a bunch of top 25 teams lost yesterday!

Yeah, if Gay Tech had Bobby Knight, they'd be unstoppable.

Talking

This thread is awesome. GO CATS !!!!!

I love UK, I didnt get a chance to see tonights game. Keeping the fingers crossed that they won. I have mixed emotions about Tubby, his recruiting need help IMO. We need an athlete some guy that is 6'8 and can drain the three!!! A modern day Mashburn, Monster Mash that is. Fitch and Daniels cant do it all year.

And boy do I remember Farmer.

Kentucky beat Florida last night by 2 points. That was one helluva game. Kentucky was down ten points, then came back for the win. I can't remember the score though. I think it was 69-67. I guess that loss to Vandy gave them a wake up call.

That was a good game last night... that's for sure! KY almost blew it again though.... FL is a great team but, I saw many of the mistakes that they've been making repeatedly all season again last night...

They're solid and definately a #9 in the nation type of team but, to climb that ladder and peak in March, they're going to have to keep working VERY hard.

Yep. I think they need to just calm down a bit and work on their defense and their free-throw shooting. That's what wins games. I noticed when Florida would bump up the pace of the game, that KY tended to play sorta sloppy and make unnessesary turnovers and fouls. If they would work on what I just mentioned, they'd be alot better IMHO.

I share your opinion...

BTW, any idea why we're down here in the Florida (Southeast) forum talking about Kentucky Basketball? LOL!

I guess for the SEC?

The last few games I and the game comentators also have noticed that Tubby is starting to go to the bench a lot more. This is very key IMO. You guys are right they do get sloppy when teams pick up the pace late in the game----they are tired. right?

You want to hear something that is funny? I married an Indiana girl, born and raised and her whole family pulls for IU. Thankfully UK has been far better than IU for a couple of years now. The father-in-law wont even talk basketball with me.
