I was thinkin of fabricating my own muffler....Just wanted to get some ideas from u guys on a design. I have a couple of my own but I want some other opinions.

I'm sure that this response may not be appreciated but my opinion is don't consider it. Good exhaust companies spend a great deal of money trying to get flow and sound characteristics that meet most any need. The average guy couldn't come close to building a muffler that would work as well as the leaders and the cost would be prohibitive.

 

I see where you are coming from. I was thinking of more like a magnaflow. Its pretty much a straight pipe right through with fiberglass surrounding it. I was thinking of something like the delta flow like flowmaster has but I think it would be easier with just a pipe and fiberglass.
