i haven't fished out there before at the beach, but it seems like some have good luck and other don't, but i'm also not paying attention to the fishers the whole time so i could be wrong. i will probably bring a pole or two with me down this time though, it's been way to long since the last time i went fishing.

If we plan on going to the mouth again, it will be way to noisy and trafficy (boats) to do any decent fishing. You may have been luck with some surf rods and heading out to a sandbar or two.

fair warning for the 2wd's, if you stop you will get stuck in certain spots, so make sure you have towing points both front and rear. most places are fine and you can go around the really sandy parts, but their is a possibility of getting stuck if you aren't familiar with driving in sand.
