Howdy y'all

I just joined the site and came runnin to the Texas pride section lol. I'm down here near Houston. I joined looking for some more information on some of these trucks, I'm 16 and looking for a reliable 4x4 for not alot of $. And I think I have settled on maybe an 80's-95 F150. Since I like the styling on that body style the most. I currently drive an 89 Beretta GT, which for what it is is awesome but it's not a truck :-/. Well by anymeans i'm glad I foudn this board and I hope y'all can help me out.

Canyon Lake

Yeah, the lake is really looking good, now. The river is really high though. They had it shut down last weekend, due to "High Flow" rates, but plan to have it back open this weekend. I saw some "tubers" @ "White Water Sports" today.

McKinney here.

Lakes Lewisville, and Palestine are where I spend most of my water time, with a trip down to Travis in the works. Never been there by boat, but have dined at the Oasis every time I'm down there.

A little further from Austin, but Canyon Lake is real good for Scuba diving. A lot clubs from Houston come up here to qualify. We are about half way between Austin & San Antonio
