Hello back from Friendswood (between Houston and Galveston)!
My kids and my money went to Austin for a while (UT) and I've made close friends with the UHaul people there.
It's a great town.

My sister in law used to live in that area. Used to take I think it was the Dixie Farms exit to get to their house. They are now in Humble.

Take Care

First time I've really wandered away from the "2004 F-150" forum. I, too, am in Austin -- been here all my life.

I just ordered my SCrew Lariat from Leif-Johnson this week ... supposed to get it in 4-10 weeks.

Greetings..

Congrats on the new Lariat.
I have an 02 King Ranch SCrew, bought it used at LJ Truck City in Buda.
Good to hear from a fellow Austinite.
I'm sure you will enjoy your new Lariat. The 04s are growing on me.

Take Care

Howdy Y'all!

Hi y'all from Canyon Lake! I used to live in La Porte (worked for Dow Chem), before "retirement". Son lives in Humble & works in Pasadena. I've have been "out of place" since before Thanksgiving, on a trip to Portland, Or. Glad to be back & see so many folks from Texas, on here!

I have a cousin in Canyon Lake (Kyle Ford). And my brother's in-laws (Gaucher) have a place at Pirate's Cove outside of Galveston. A native Austinite, I've only been here a little over three decades, but my family has been here since 1837. A year or two earlier and we'd have claimed some pretty good land. Well, at least that's what I tell myself. "Texas, it's like a whole other country!" Good people, too!

Dallas Area Exhaust

I'm new to the Dallas area. I've had all my past exhaust work done back home in my parents' small town. At a local shop. I'm just wondering if there is anywhere in the Dallas area that anyone has any experience with having exhaust done. I'm looking at maybe just ordering a borla muffler and having someone bend me the dual pipes to the passenger side rear. B/c I've got 4x4 and I don't want the split exit duals system they offer and I don't want the single system they offer either! Let me know if you have any info!
