F150online Is Moving!
Great job in getting it all moved over that must have been a tough task…
It seems since it has been moved over, at least for me, that the site is very sluggish. I am on cable and it seems to take a few seconds for the images (light bulb, smiles, and pictures etc.) to load when you go from one forum to another.
I know your looking for some feedback and I wonder if anyone is having that issue.
In any regards you still have done an excellent job with the site and getting everything switched over…

Yeah, that's also a temporary by-product of the server move.
Right now, you are logging into the domain "66.179.14.118" as opposed to "f150online.com" as the old cookie would be named.
Depsite what paranoid anti-cookie advocates (idiots) might tell you, there is no way for me to read the old cookie on the new server until the DNS issues are resolved.

In addition, because the site is now being called by the IP address (until the DNS work is complete) your browser does not recognize that the commonly used images are already in its cache. (if you have your browser setup that way, of course)

whew. That's a relief. I access this site mostly at work. I thought maybe our IT guys were messing with me.

Your login cookie for the f150online.com domain, unless you deleted it manually, should still be there. When the DNS changes are complete, you should be logged in to the domain. (if you were in the first place)
A quick primer on DNS, as I have received a lot of questions about it:
DNS = Domain Name Service
Every computer (server) connected to the Internet is identified by an IP address, a unique set of four numbers (like 66.179.14.118 in our case), that identiy where on the Internet it resides. When you type the www.f150online.com domain name into your browser window, a DNS server behind the scenes (perhaps setup at your ISP) "resolves" that domain name to a physical computer on the Internet.
There are DNS server's all over the world, so when a site administrator requests a change to DNS information, the change has to propogate across all of the DNS servers around the world. The change may take two hours to propogate or it could take two weeks. Usually it takes a couple of days.
Hope the clarifies things a bit.

Update: The DNS request are starting to propogate. I am receiving messages that indicate the site is accessible using the domain name (rather than the IP address) in some locations. We will keep the IP address access available for a couple more days, to make sure nobody gets shut out.
