I have a 2005 f150 with a 5.4 v8 i went to a buddy's house and parked with no problems. about 4 hours i went out to start my truck i used my key-less entry without any issues. when i inserted the key and turned one click all the electronics went dead and i could not start the truck. i was able to get it started after jumping it. then the next day i tried to start it and when i put the key in it died again. after i took the positive battery terminal off and reattached it and i was able to start truck with no trouble. I tested the battery and it is working fine I also tested the alternator and the starter and they are all working. I have no idea what is causing the issue but when i get the truck to start i don't have any issues with stalling or loss of power and it drives just fine.

i need help ASAP i need this as a daily driver and i don't want to spend the money to take it to a shop

 

Sounds like you had a corroded battery connection. I'd clean both of them and the battery cable connectors, then, hook them back up.

thanks i saw that at my local auto parts store but i didn't know if it was any good so i didn't buy it but I need to go back later this week so ill pick some up.
