I have a 2001 f150 harley davidson edition it has a 5.4 tritton in it eventually im planing on making it 4wd or (preferably) awd are there any expedition or other f150 axles, transfer case, and drive shafts i could use with my current motor and trans

 

All 97-03 4wd F150's and Expeditions regardless of model use the same front axle. Check your door jamb sticker for TRANS and AXLE codes and please post them. We need the axle code to determine the correct gear ratio.

You will need a transfer case, front driveshaft, and transmission out of a 4wd 97-03 F150 or Expy, there are 2 different transmissions and that's why we need your code. You will also need an appropriate rear driveshaft.

 

There only one sticker and it pretty unreadable would the tag on the differential have the same info? Also i think it might have a odd wheel base lenth

 

Yes, check the tag on the diff.

The transmission is most likely a 4R100. Look underneath, if it is, the pan has 20 bolts and the shape looks like the state of Utah. If so, you will need the trans and transfer case out of a F150 or Expy with a 4R100 or E4OD.

 

would be cheaper and easier to buy a 4x4 supercrew and swap interiors
