Looking over the service records i dont think its ever been done. Just rolled 142k yesterday. After Christmas i need to take it up there and get another key for it and get the Transmission Fluid Changed, Transfer Case changed. Probably be a good time to get the plugs also. Maybe get your guy to repaint the drivers side fender flares also. Clear is starting to come up and rest of the vehicle looks to great to leave it alone.

Made another trip to Abilene last night for the races. Decided to take the truck on its first highway drive. Still had a half tank and last filled up may 14th so figured it would be a good way to burn through the last half. Set cruise on 69 all the way there and got 25.4 mpg! Usually computer is max .2 off so either way super impressed. Coming back had a strong head wind from a storm and it dropped to 23.3 mpg 193 miles on the odometer. Didnt even use a quarter tank

Not to shabby for a crew cab 4x4 truck

Found a youtube video on Super Clean to clean tires. Looked to work well and went to grab a gallon. I poured it in a 32oz spray bottle diluted it 4 to 1 and couldnt believe what it oulled off the cavailer. Gallon should last a long while.

That was just spraying it in and about 30 seconds later i snapped the pics. Rinsed it and alot more came off. Tires look great now.

Ive done dawn also works pretty good. Also done Awesome Cleaner from dollar tree and it did pretty good. I cant stand the smell of Simple Green, just something about it. Best thing about super clean in the gallon size is pour into a 32oz spray bottle dilute 4 to 1. Its gonna make a lot of bottles. I washed 3 cars today and only used 16 or so ounces.

Both f150s are tomorrow then everything woll be clean again. Need to stop daily driving all the vehicles. Especially when it rains. Just stick to a couple.

When i saw it knocking all the crap off i was concerned it may stain the driveway. But it didn't so all good

I usually just use left over car wash soap and a bristle brush to scrub mine. Left over soap in the bucket after washing the paint. Occasionally get out the simple green if I need a little more "cutting" power

Of course I don't cake on the tire shine after words so they don't have as much build up over time from that....

I do the same thing...my truck needs a good washing now but with daily rain it may be a waste of time. So glad I got the light gold paint on this dually. Going camping Friday and gravel roads at the camp site so I may wait till we get back Monday to clean it off. I've been using Carolina wash and wax concentrate for years and find it to be good stuff.

I always meet Dad on thursdays for lunch, today i pull up and hes parked under a shade tree with the hood popped on the M Class. I got out and asked whats wrong? He hesitated for a min and said well i tried to run a newer ford and something started to smell in 2nd gear at 6000 rpm, I said did you let off? He said not until the next red light and it was getting close to redline in 3rd.

86 year old teenager, lol

Seen this one in person last week, weird color, like it's a 50s retro color.

Car needs some TLC to save it and get it back into shape
