You could even say the same thing about a new Shelby GT350, not really something the average person can afford.

I mean I know we're talking two different ranges, 400k+ vs 70k but still
Yeah -- but at least $70k is attainable if you put your mind to it. Heck, I have that much in the four cars I have in my collection right now, so if a Corvette or high-end Mustang had been my goal it would have been within reason.

I guess I'm more attracted to the cute girl across the street than the Hollywood starlet I'll never meet in my life......

If you did happen to meet her, she won't remember you.

If they're gonna be unobtainable and out of my league, might as well go for the really good one

Woke up planning to do a full correction on the truck. But the weather had other plans. So just did a wash and wax until probaly fall when it starts to cool down. Then ill do it the correct way. It already looks alot better with just a coat of wax but the surface seems to have contaminants on it which is probably rail dust and no telling what else. Should look spectacular with the full correction.

If they were 20's I'd have considered picking up a take-off set and keeping them around in case I ever get tired of the Roush 20's I bought for my truck -- which I still haven't gotten around to installing yet.....

Took advantage of the cool front that came in overnite. Mid 70s today. Got another one cleaned up. Its amazing how sinple it is to wash the ones that has had a full corrections. Water just slides off with the towel in 1 swipe and good to go.

I love the color of the wife's edge. Wish they still made it on the f150 side.

So I changed the oil in the truck today. When I started it after I filled it up, it made a very abrupt loud clacking sound that lasted about 2-3 seconds, and then engine sound returned to normal. Motorcraft oil and motorcraft filter, and before you ask, yes, I know what I'm doing lol. I'm thinking maybe it's because I put the filter on dry (it's mounted sideways, and I didn't want oil to pour out everywhere while I was installing it). So I guess the engine ran dry for two seconds or so while the filter filled up. It's running fine and sounds completely normal now, I'm just hoping I didn't damage the lifters or anything else. Thoughts?
