Let's start over......
What happened to all that free money from driving miles in the Crapolier?
Honestly if she hasn't yet with all the crap Ive put it through its not going too, Probably had 50 tunes and Revisions run through it. WOT throttle multiple times a day. Me being a dummy and trying to manually shift it and forget and bounces off the rev limiter and several other etc etc etc
Road trip was finished up on Sunday. I think next time I will take a extra day to do it as I was pretty wiped at the end of it. Basically 4 days of driving of my 12 day vacation. Truck did awesome and still very happy with the new tires.
Just shy of 6000km round trip (3700 miles) and close to 900 liters of gas burned (240 Gallons). Lots of wind, weight, Winter gas, speed and lots of idling (freaking cold out) netted 15.4mpg average. Far cry from the 22mpg I saw in August.
I spent $20 at the coin wash just trying to rinse off all the salt and dirt. Now time for an oil change!

Short term, I'm going to use some of the money I have tucked away for general maintenance items I need to do on my current "babies" -- for example, new injectors on the F-150 now that I'm outside of the extended warranty on the '05's, etc. I'm also planning on dropping some coin on the Ranger -- 4"- 6" lift kit, taller differential gearing, and a nice set of rims and tires.
Longer term, I keep waiting for Ford to come out with a new vehicle that piques my interest -- maybe see what the Broncos look like once they start leaking more details about them.....
And of course, I'm always roaming around eBay looking for interesting, low-mileage older cars.....

We get about the same weather as Houston/Galveston does but a day later. I like cold weather and snow but only for a few days...much prefer the warm weather. I've been in my current house 9 yrs and never have seen any snow. Our previous house we lived in for 32 yrs we saw snow about 3 times and it melted quickly.
I was out working in it yesterday -- raw, windy and cold! Today is a breeze -- just have to drive down the highway in the Cavalier and think about where I want to stop for lunch on my way back to Houston.....
