Spent the last 2 days painting the basement, I'm so glad I'm not a painter one more coat and it should be done. I'm thinking I might build a little bar too. I've seen some pretty cool bars made out of pallets.

Oh well I guess I'll have to go out and mow the lawn...almost 80 degrees today but rain is on the way so I need to get it done.

The prep and the clean up after painting is what I hate...the actual painting is kind of therapeutic!!

Tell me more about this 80* weather, I vaguely remember what that's like A lot of it has melted since this morning. We're up to 37* now.

Thanks for the picture of the snow...just finished up the yardwork and watering the wifes plants. I even took a ride on my atv to "cool" off!! Pretty good when you can work outside in December with a T-shirt on. I know it hit 80 and maybe even a little higher today.

Dropped it off at ford tonight for the new windshield tomorrow. hopefully everything goes smoothly with that. Probably wasn't the best idea to do a detail and take it to dealer next day hopefully I get it back still clean

Yeah -- but if you bring it in dirty you'll end up getting one of their "complimentary" car washes and a boatload of swirl marks.....

I know, it sucks leaving your truck out in the weather. It almost wants to make me get rid of my truck and buy an older F150 just so I don't care as much about it.

Someday I'd like to build a 24x40 garage or find a house for sale that has something similar.

When we were house shopping 3.5 years ago we came across a house with two 2 car garages, one attached, one detached. I really wanted to like the house, but that was literally it's best feature was 4 garage stalls

Just got the truck back, everything looks great and it's the oem windshield with the f150 logo in center. this is 1 time I'm glad I got a warranty! I'd been crying handing over the cash for it.

When we built our house back in 2001, I originally was going to do the same thing -- 2-car attached with a 2-1/2 car detached. The builder staked everything out on the lot and at the last minute I decided I was losing too much of my yard and opted for a 3-car attached instead.

Worst decision I ever made in my life (well, except for giving-in to the wife's demand for a Disney World vacation) -- I never use my yard and would kill to have the extra garage space now......
