I like how the roush eliminates the resonator. The magnaflow I put on started at the joint behind the resonator, makes it a lot quieter out of the box. I wonder how it would sound with the ATAK muffler?

Nice exhaust, I really like the tips. I'm sure you saved some weight with that tiny muffler, lol.

I would trade my puddle lights for power fold any day! I have to get out and manually close one mirror to get my truck into the barn where I park it. The power fold wasn't available in 2009....

Looking at your exhaust pics - man your truck is so clean underneath! After 7.5 years of running in the garbage salt/sand mixture they put on the roads here the entire underside is rust.

This is what my spare tire looks like when I took it out to check it this week -

Sounds good!

I've been pretty much set on getting the ATAK, now I have you to thank for throwing a wrench in my plan

Beautiful truck and a great find! If you haven't ordered your level yet, check out the Zone Off-road 2" lift kit. Instead of stacking the blocks I just swapped in the slightly taller rear block to maintain a little rake. If you're into that sort of thing.

Really? damn. Most catbacks I have seen remove the resonator. I believe even Borlas do. I highly considered atak but not at that price range. $560 for this Roush was very nice, and it sounds deep toned and angry. I enjoy it.

Thanks, lol sure must have! Muffler is as big as the resonator!

I thought it was pretty decently clean myself. There are some evident surface rusted areas that will rust no matter what, but not bad for 3yrs old. Should remain well as long as I can keep it out of the winter season.

Atak sounds great no doubt, but almost twice the price for the same volume output and a one choice only exhaust exit.

Thanks! I honestly hate the rake stance, so i'll just level the nose end and call it good. If I discover a 4" lift w/ 35s will fit in my garage, perhaps I may go that route.

If you haven't already check the drain holes at the bottom of the rockers along with the access holes in the rocker. The access holes should be covered with tape. I'd flush them out real good, let dry, and then spray some rust inhibitor in there like Fluid Film, Amsoil MPHD, or Eastwood Internal Frame Coating. Then put new tape over the holes, gorilla tape works really well. The rockers and cab corners are still prone to rust out from the inside much the like the 11th and 10th gens.

Exhaust sounds great BTW.

If I were you I'd see if there's a place near you that sprays Krown. I just got mine done 3 weeks ago, they sprayed inside all the doors, tailgate, inside the hood and drilled holes in the rockers so they could spray them, they even sprayed the inside of the frame which really surprised me. It's my first time using it but I know a few guys that have always used it and love it.

Here's a pic of my frame. I'm not sure if you can tell in the pic or not but they really put it on there and it actually sticks.

^^MTM - that looks great! I wish I had done something like that when I bought mine new. Looking underneath mine now is a sorry sight.

Just one of the prices I pay for living in the boonies I guess.....

Not really an update but I got a couple pics with all of my cars in one shot. Kinda makes me grin ear to ear.

Looks great Darren! And don't say Trump...we don't want to trigger anyone to go to their special safe place
