Thumbs up Gift from Ford for 01 HarleySupercrews

Today in the mail I received from Ford F-150 Marketing Division a wonderful gift of a custom key chain and a personalized plate with my name on it, my VIN, date of manufature and indicating mine was #385. VERY COOL. I will post a picture later. The plate is very nice. It has the Harley logo design just like on the truck fender and is heavy and about 2 1/2" X 4 1/2". Thanks Ford! Take care,

How long is it taking after you've taken delivery of your truck?

I like the plaque, but don't agree with MotorWorf that is is much more cool. I love the one that came with the 2000 model and I ain't tradin'!

The new one is larger and wouldn't go well on the flip-up passenger airbag cover where mine is mounted. Wondering where it was designed to go? It has screw holes in the corners -- any idea where you are gonna put it, HarleySupercrew?

As far as I can see it is intended as a desk top paperweight. The "screw holes" are part of the piece and are made to appear like bolts. The back is covered with black felt to keep it from scratching the table. I think it will look cool on my desk top at the office or at home. Cool conversation piece. I guess you could drill out the holes where the faux bolts are located and fasten it to the inside of the truck but I don't think I'll do that with it. Like the idea of looking at it in the office. Take care,

Hmm. Well, that's a great use for it, too! Makes one heckuva a nice conversation piece/paperweight!

    Thanks for the update!

Now that's nice... I can't wait to get them. How long did it take for you to receive it? I purchased mine less than a month ago...
