Talking 21.09 mpg

I have been calucating my mpg on my 4.2 v6 heritage for the last 3X and have been geting 20.8,2.9, and now 21.09. I was really shocked to see this, even the last tank i pulled my atv and trailor for over 50miles. I do baby the truck and it is automatic. I let my truck shift between 1400-1600 rmps. The BP station i use even has a sign saying that they use ethanal in thier mixture.

Everything was fine until you mentioned that you fill up with Bullsheet Petroleum.

Anyhow, congratulations on you MPG.... my '07 Xterra doesn't even get that around town.

I would be shocked to get that good a fuel mileage shifting that low outside the engine powerband as well.

Just saying. Shift at higher RPMs to get going then drop'em when cruising.

I'm always above 2000, maybe even closer to 2500 RPMs when pulling away from a stop. The occasional 3000-4000 RPM exercise won't hurt, either.

My MPGs aren't hurting me despite that.

Because he is 16, and his sack is anxiously awaiting for his nuts to drop.

Raptor, listen man. I dont go your threads and knock you down with your bull***** HP gains, so dont come on mine and try to make me look dumb. Because all you did was make yourself look dumb.

P.S. (Raptor this is for you) Sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut so people wont know how dumb you really are.

I would believe 21, driving it right - and I get better mileage on BP than anything else, ethanol or not.
