Anyone notice this?

In the last week I have noticed that the satellite radio has been cutting out at random for a split second. I'm not hitting bumps when it happens for it to be a loose wire. I'm not driving under anything at those times also. Just completely random cutout. Just wondering if anybody else has noticed this.

Happening here too...I am reluctant to take it in unless when I call they say "yeah, we have seen this and have a fix for it" because otherwise, I have no faith that they will do anything useful with my truck and will simply return it and say we couldn't reproduce it.

I called Sirius. Girl I talked to knew nothing about this. She told me to go to website and leave feedback. She also told me to tell anyone experiencing this to do the same. Don't know about you guys, but it's annoying to me. And I'm noticing it more and more.

Just got my new truck 4 day ago and noticed this.. I was about to take it back and have them look at the stereo.. Figured there was a faulty component or bad connection or something.

This almost makes it better.. now I wont have them unnecessarily pulling part the truck making resulting in a new rattle.

I called Sirius again. I'm being told that there is a possibe glitch in the system that may have happened when they rearranged the channel lineup and that the F150's may fall into some category. My wife says she hasn't noticed anything in her Escape. I was told that a "higher level" tech support person is going to be calling be back to get the issue resolved. Wait and see. Let you guys know if and when I hear something.

I called again. I am being told that since no one is calling to complain about this, Sirius is not going to take it seiously. With that being said, they refreshed my signal then turned off service for just a minute or so, then turned it back on. So far, I thinks it has worked but not sure yet. They also said they the dealership may have to look at the satellite receiver to make sure that something hasn't happened to it. Let's hope not.

I have the same problem. I don't know if my portable radio does it.It was doing it before the new channel line up also.

In the first 3-4 days after Sirius did what they did, I noticed the problem cleared up about 95%. In the last 3-4 days, I say it's closer to 100% solved. I told Sirius I would call them back to verify the fix worked, I haven't yet. But I was also told that I would still get a call back from one of their 'techs' in 7 business days to talk about the problem and to make sure it was taken care of. I haven't gotten that call either.

I had the drop out today. It went out for a good minute. Its not the equipment, its sirius. As soon as I got home I turned on my portable unit. It was cutting out also. I took the portable out to my truck with the boom box. It didn't do it on both. I only gave it 5 minute because it was 95 degrees out. There was a delay between the 2 units . Its a sirius problem not the equipment. We are not the only people experience the problem . I read that after the merger alot of people complaining about drop outs. complain to sirius-xm about the problem
