it does it and it does not do it. 2 weeks ago it was pretty bad, at the point it was out for a good minute. this week not a problem. I was thinking water was getting into the antennae, but it hasn't rain in a week.

I've been getting crappy reception in my Cobalt with the factory XM. I took the sat radio out of my truck because it seldom gets driven (it's now my toy).

I'll chime in here too. My portable Sirius that's mounted in my truck cuts out a lot lately too. It also cuts out while streaming WiFi in my garage... it gives some kind of message on the screen about being busy or something, I just can't remember what it says exactly.

I have a portable Sirius radio hard-wired into my factory head unit and mine's been doing it as well. I would get the "Acquiring Signal" message for some time before it would find a signal. It would happen within the first few minutes of operation, and it would even happen in an un-obstructed area.
