How do I make my Sirius to XM

I have a 2008 Supercrew with the factory 6 disc changer and 6 months of Sirius radio.

I prefer XM over Sirius.

Is it possible to make my radio play XM instead of Sirius?

Is there something I can take out (Sirius) and install (XM)?

I do not want an ugly receiver on my dash!

Thanks

If you do not want an external device you will need a new radio in your dash. Sirius and XM are not compatible even though they are now the same company.

Yes, you can convert from Sirius to XM.

There is a little box for the Sirius receiver under your radio. Swapping it out for an XM receiver is very easy -- takes about 20 minutes tops.

I bought the unit and did the conversion awhile back. It sucked. It effected the sound of my factory Audiphile sound system. It did work and did what it was supposed todo. It stopped my Audio in jack from working also. What I ended up doing was uninstalling the unit. Useing my portable XM unit but useing the factory Sirius antenna wire. I plugged the XM into the Audio Jack in the pan on the dash and have fantastic full perfect sound again in my '07 lariat

Interesting about the Audiophile. I don't know if there is a reason it would work worse with that. I have the 6-cd changer, non-audiophile and it works great.
