I recently ordered a 2008 F-150 FX2 and did not include the Sirius add-on. Now i'm thinking that i will probably want this option. Will a dealer add it on if asked when i pick it up? Or if I bought it from the local electronics store and get it installed would that void my warranty? Any help with this would be much appreciated.

If it is actually an ordered built vehicle, the order can be modified up until the day it is manufactured. Will the dealer do this for you? Depends on how good a dealer you purchased from.

 

It will not void the warranty if you get it done afterwards, but as stated above, go back and see if you can have this option added.

 

I wish I had opted for a factory Sirius. Just for the cleanliness. Sirius will for sure back up their product. Customer service has been awesome for the 3 years I've been with them. Just had my 1st claim with them & expected to pay shipping,but they sent a pre-paid RMA with a replacement!!
