Thumbs up Install Pictures for a 2004 F 150 Screw

I purchased my Sirius Satellite Radio last week. It worked good but I wanted better sound. I looked online and decided to purchase the PIE Audio Input Adapter. I looked on this site and saw it worked great. I figured worth a shot. I found it for about 83.00 before shipping. Super quick shipping two. Three days. Here is the site I bought it from. http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=813. I also order a Satellite Radio mount from Arkon. They have many different styler to pick form and not bad prices either. Here is the site. http://arkon.com/ .
Here are some pictures from my truck during and after.

This is the radio out of the dash with the wires behind.

I decided to put the audio input into this to power it.

Installed on roof through 3rd brake light. Easy. Then ran above rear window and along molding to the front on the truck. NO wires are showing at all.

No wires showing.

This is what my radio says now.

Ran the wires up through console. Looks neat.

COMPLETE. It looks clean and no wires. I bought a 12 volt outlet mount but it has not came yet in the mail so I just mounted it to the wood ashtray with the suction cup mount for now. It looks better then it did.

I hope this might give some people ideas and help. I love my radio. If I could do this anyone can. Best Buy wanted 75.00 to install this and I did it from free. The total cost for this projest with the radio and PIE and sirius fees was right at 300.00 Looks better and I did it they way I wanted to. If you want more pictures just let me know.

Did you splice into the lighter for a 12volt power source (behind the dash)?

Thanks,
