I went and bought one today. I got the sprtster so that I can add the boom box later on. I had my budie install it for me since thats what he does at work all day long. I put my antenna up in the front on the roof and get great reception so far! I also used the suction cup and it seems to be the ticket for now.

 

Great! Post some pics if you can, and report any reception problems, its very helpful to those of us who haven't purchased a radio or mounted the antenna yet.

aint got a chance to take a pics yet, But I can tell ya that my budie installed the antenna center of the roof in the front and I havent lost signal yet! And I drove my azz off today. he ran all the wires under the dash so you cant see anything at all(wire wise) and tapped into one of the two lighters I have behind the dash as well.



Sound could be a little clearer in my opinion, But were workin on that.

Your sound won't be as clear as RCA's when your using a wireless FM transmitter. The install looks killer! Can you tell me where you got the cup mount for the sportster????? Thanks for the help.

 

That huge ugly suction comes with the jvc and assuming the new sportsters.

 

They are also all over ebay.

 

Ya, Ya, never mind, just read that it comes with the new REPLAY model. And I did see some on Ebay, but alot of those are multi-model mounts. If it ends up looking bad, I guess I can always stick it to my dash.
