Found a new mounting plate. (you might like this one RP)

I was surfing a XM forum and one of the guys used a proclip for his import. I searched the proclip site and found this: http://www.proclipusa.com/?sectionpa...d=&p_year=2004

I remembered that RP was concerned with the location of his pro-fit (since he had to look away from the road to see his radio).

Looks like a good place to put the sat, and to hide the wires behind the dash.

Awesome!! That is exactly where I wanted to mount my sirius!
My phone is on the other side of the radio.

Thanks!

Thanks for posting this. I ordered one for my 2001 and mounted my SkyFi this weekend. It (at least the one for a 2001) isn't made for SkyFi. Seems more targeted at cell phones, GPS. I had to drill the holes for the car kit. I had the ProFit mount and it vibrated and rattled. The ProClip holds the SkyFi steady with no noises.

Do you have any pics of the way you mounted your bracket to the ProClip ? I bought one also and assumed we could screw through the back of the bracket to the mount but cannot ?

Looking for some alternatives to 2 way tape.

Thanks
