"Hey RP,
The FM adaptor is an "inline" setup. The guy a Delphi said it was a self powered unit that uses the MyFi signal to operate.

I am going to try to find one today and will keep you posted."

OK guys, after driving thru Chi-town Monday and yesterday, and finding out that an open frequency in that town is almost impossible, I am leaning toward this inline adapter. Will it work with my Roady2? I looked at my BestBuy the other day for some stuff and didn't see this there. And if installed, if the XM receiver is on it doesn't matter what frequency the radio is at? Sorry for the questions, but am a little confused. If you could post the brand and part number it would be awesome.

Thanks guys.

First, what's Chi-Town?

I think it will work with your Roady2. BB sells this item however; your store may have not had it in stock.

It will still only work on the set frequency and, ultimately, will work like a regular modulator and seize the best of the other regular frequencies (unless you have a REALLY strong signal from a certain station on the FM spin).

HERE IS WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR...

Chi-town = Chicago

Come on' RP, I thought you were hip on this kind of stuff. J/K I only live an hour from Chicago and I travel thru it quite often for work. Seems like I can't get anywhere without going thru town. It took me 4:45 minutes for a normal 3.5 hour drive on Monday because of weather. You never know how long it will take thru that town.

Thanks for the info. I think I may have to order one.

I assume the power adapter is for the XM receiver itself? I already put one under my dash so I could close the door to my Power Points. Looks like this does the same thing.
