I received in yesterday's mail the cruise control recall notice for my 02 Supercrew. Just FYI to anyone with an 02.

Is that just for '02 models? I heard it is for numerous years.

 

The recall includes:

1994-2002 Ford F-150s
1997-2002 Ford Expeditions
1998-2002 Lincoln Navigators
1994-1996 Ford Broncos with factory cruise control

Per my understanding, not ALL vehicles in these ranges fall into the recall. If I were you, I'd call service at the dealership and ask them to run your VIN. They should be able to tell you if your vehicle is affected within 30 seconds (1 minute if they're slow).

i just got 2 of them i think for my "old" written off truck
but they already fixed it on my new one
so i considerd them junk mail
