Question Extended Maintenance Plan - What's Covered?

When I purchased my 2003 F-150 SuperCrew, I also purchased an extended maintenance plan (RentalCARE and QualityCARE Maintence Protection Plan, 48 months/60,000 miles, 5,000 mile intervals) for around $1,500. I thought I was purchasing an extended SERVICE plan, but that' a different problem.

Anyway, the vehicle has 27K miles and is at the dealer getting a 30K service (approx. $400). The dealer is telling me that only oil changes and tire rotation is covered by my agreement. If I'm doing the math correctly, oil changes every 5K miles for 60K miles is, at most, 12 oil changes - FOR $1,500??? That's over $100 per oil change and it's PREPAID??

I or the dealer must be missing something, yes?

From: Georgia on my mind...
At 30K under the maintenance plan, you should be getting an oil change, tire rotation, replacement of engine air and fuel filters and a transmission service.
