OHHH, and you seem to miss the point this post is about older recalls and yet unfixed trucks not the newest recall you speak of. this recall includes some of the newer years and older years I think 1989 and up. but the newest recall is for 1994 and up. Now as for the arguement of doing a web search online most used car or truck buyers or those of lower income maybe do not do a search of this type as most private sales are on the spot type deals, done on what you see and know about how a truck runs and what you feel when you drive it, I mean yes some folks are able to take time to search and wait but some can not and those of us who did not like on this ford will in the future but hindsite is 20/20 thus this post to make any personing thinking of buying a older ford to be made aware of ways to get that info before buying or at least know after buying what any tank relatered problems might be.

It's usually far easier to create victims than actually find them.

At some point people have to held accountable for their own stupidity, lack of diligence and impulsiveness.

My old truck had the same problem, it was easy to deal with, drive only on the main tank. when you need the other tank, fill it and run on the main tank first. No problem
