79 Indy Pace Truck

I have a 79 F-150 Indy pace truck and a 79 Indy Mustang. I have just completed restoring the truck. Aftermarket decals are NOT readily availible. I tried an NOS set through an obsolete parts supplier and the were unuseable due to fading and they were too brittle. PLus they were for a 6 foot box.

I have replicated/ created the pace truck decals and have them availible to other Pace truck enthusiets.
You can see my truck and pace car at www.79indypacecar.com

I used to own one in 1987-88. Was 302/manual. Previous owner painted the truck red, but it still had the spaceman silver bench seat. Mine was titled as a 1978, so I assumed they all were 78's.

Jakem, nice collection!

I am a big fan of trucks of the 70's I rarely see well preserved one these days. Is it in good condition engine wise? It looks good.

kickin myself

I let a set of 90% OEM indy door panels go with my 78FX4 when I sold it...I still kick myself for letting them go with the truck, they were is awsome shape.
