WTH has happened since Jan 1? I used to log on multiple times daily - never logged out and was always online. Now, everytime I try to post I am prompted to log in - the log in sheet pulls up a screen name used on another Ford forum, not my user name here? I can log in correctly but then I have to go thru the process all over again next time? When I posted before, my signature always appeared. Now I have to select this option for each post??

I've changed nothing on the computer. Did the site reset or something on the 1st????

No. nothing was changed. Not heard of this one. has to be something on your end if it is pulling another name up.

As for your signature, it's automatically set to appear on a quick reply; not no a fully reply. Again, nothing has changed there...

99.99% sure that this is on your end and is likely cookie/history related.

 

Not sure what browser you are using, but if it is a Firefox, and the settings were changed to clear all private data on exit, and the cookies item is checked, the browser will come back as a new install ( less the bookmarks ) each time to start it.
This is tools -> options -> privacy
check mark on the option for clear history when Firefox closes. The settings button next to this, check that cookies is not one of the things to be cleared upon closing.

Sounds like the saved password option. For Firefox, the option to save user IDs and passwords is per site, if this one was cleared for some reason, and the setting turned off, it will only use the names that are saved for other
sites. Autofill of the user name is a function of the browser not the site.

When you login, are you selecting remember me ?

When you come back to the site, are you going to the forum page, or to the home page for F150online.com ?
